We are thrilled to provide you with an update on the groundbreaking initiative developed by the Iroquois Healthcare Association (IHA) in collaboration with HWL. In 2022, IHA introduced Upstate Works, an industry-disrupting and cost-effective solution, specifically designed to address the exorbitant rates imposed by healthcare temporary staffing agencies.
Since its launch in October 2022, the Upstate Works program has achieved remarkable success, with over 400 clinicians hired or committed to the program. Not only has it resulted in actual savings exceeding $2.1 Million, but it also forecasts an impressive total projected savings of $4.3 Million upon the successful completion of each contract commitment (with an average contract duration of 13 weeks). These outstanding results can be attributed to the average savings of 16% on every bill rate, highlighting the significant impact Upstate Works has made in reducing costs and optimizing financial outcomes.
