In October IHA WIO debuted the much anticipated “Mental Health and Well-Being Digital Tool-Kit” at the in-person IHA HR Forum. The Digital Tool-Kit is a portion of the IHA Acute Care Online Training Program funded through a grant given by the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.
The idea for creating a Mental Health and Well-being Digital toolkit came in recognizing that in order to take care of others, we must first take care of ourselves. What has always been demanding work became nearly overwhelming during the pandemic and has continued post-pandemic. We are talking about mental health and well-being both in our personal and our work lives. And we are talking about everything from diet, exercise, and sleep to managing stress, maintaining relationships, and fulfilling professional goals to honoring values, and creating a sense of belonging.
The Tool-Kit can be accessed online through our website, here.
There are tools for individual employees as well as more strategic assessment and planning tools for organizations. The tool-kit was designed to be individualized, with various resources available to view at the discretion of the user.
The tool-kit includes personal well-being assessments, relaxation tools, planning documents, interactive learning modules and more. We hope that employees at all levels and disciplines in our member organizations take advantage of this tool-kit. Pass the word along to your peers and colleagues.
