Caring Gene® Recruitment Website
Starting April 1, the IHA Caring Gene® recruitment website, caringgene.com, will expand to include hospital members. Caringgene.com allows your organization to post an unlimited number of job openings and receive applications from interested job seekers. IHA members have access to this recruitment tool at no cost as a member benefit. Members who have long-term care organizations can also continue to post those jobs for free.

Caringgene.com employs the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to increase the traffic of job seekers to your posts. AI technology collects large amounts of data and uses the information to identify individuals who are likely to have the Caring Gene® and likely to excel at a position in the care industry. Advertisements are then directed at those individuals to bring them to the site and directly apply for jobs.

Caringgene.com also gives job seekers a look into the care industry with informational pages that feature different positions. The pages show them the opportunities that care can offer them. Once they know more about the field, they can browse open positions in their area with a geographic filter and apply directly on the site.

If you would like to post your open positions on caringgene.com beginning on April 1, please contact us at ihawio@iroquois.org.

Virtual Career Fairs
We are also offering the opportunity for IHA members to host their own virtual career fair using an online platform, Brazen. Members can design the event by choosing which day and time to hold it, what positions to recruit for, and how to advertise the event.

IHA staff will work with organizations to make the event successful by handling platform set up and assist with any administrative needs. This is a chance for hospitals to try out a virtual event platform at no cost.

Free Technology
We have a number of Google Chromebooks that we are offering to our members. During the pandemic, the devices were used to help patients communicate with loved ones, to check patients in, to enable staff training and more. The devices can be used in any way that the member sees fit. IHA staff will help to reconfigure the devices for desired use.

If you are interested in hosting your own virtual event or receiving Google Chromebooks, please contact us at ihawio@iroquois.org.
