The New York State Department of Health issued a request for applications (RFA) for the Doctors Across New York (DANY) program in the fall of 2008.  DANY offers two opportunities for funding:  the Physician Loan Repayment Program and the Physician Practice Support Program. 

The RFA is a competitive grant program that provides funding from DOH for loan forgiveness or practice support for doctors to practice in designated shortage areas.
