The purpose of this local affiliation of staff development educators and the national organization is to provide a forum of collaboration that includes:

• Provision of educational offerings relevant to staff development practice
• Identifying and developing strategies to address issues related to nursing education, health care reform and nursing practice
• Working on projects and programs of mutual benefit to the membership
• Collaboration and networking activities
